I am grateful to be in my 17th year of dedicated service to clients and to be working with the Mirena and Co. team to deliver world class service to our attorneys and clients and their families. I have worked one on one with settlement clients since 2007, when I began my career working under Charly Schell. I enjoyed 14 wonderful years of mentorship with Charly before his passing in 2021. During that time, I was able to live incredible experiences working on some of the toughest cases in the country, from single event to mass tort and everything in between. I gained a great deal of experience assisting Charly with initially bringing the Retail Insurance Business to our settlement planning services. I am passionate about this market and serving injured clients on an ongoing basis to manage their porfolios while transferring risk to insurance products that offer valuable guarantees while maintaining true value. I work with each client and their family to craft a plan that will be both beneficial and flexible for their real life, and I stick around to serve those clients for the duration of their planning needs. Mirena and Co. offers estate and trust planning coordination, investment portfolio creation and management, settlement annuities, and retail insurance. We also consult lawyers and their firms on firm growth and scaling operations. More about my past lives....In 2018 I co-founded Armis Advisers with Charles Schell and a few other crucial team members, initially serving as our Chief Compliance Officer and handling our ADV and other SEC filings. Armis Advisers then became the multi family office of RIA Bison Advisors. In 2020 we also co-founded Armis Strategies, our consulting and insurance planning firm, where I largely focused my day to day activities. I ran our compliance in 20 states, assist in the direction of premium and in allocation strategy development for complex insurance and wealth portfolios, interfaced with our IMO and carriers on policy placement, and served settlement and traditional clients directly by developing and overseeing planning strategies. I advised other agents, advisors and trustees on their insurance contracts and assisted in the monitoring, review and replacement of established life and annuity policies. I began my career in 2007 with Forge Consulting and later Advocacy Wealth Management, growing and serving in a variety of positions, developing processes and methodologies along the way as a champion for simplifying client education and making the process transparent.
