Responsible for risk management for Retail Lending Operations by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Provide independent leadership for the governance of end-to-end risk management across all relevant risk types and expert risk management direction on all key risk initiatives and functions. Identify and monitor current and emerging risks for Consumer Lending division. Document key risk indicators consistent with the bank’s risk appetite and risk framework. Subject matter expert support for issue identification and remediation, risk decisions, risk appetite and risk controls to ensure residual risk is within defined and acceptable limits and issues are resolved timely.

Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance for specific departments within the Processing Services Division. Responsibilities include; create risk framework, compliance monitoring and testing, identify risks and implement controls to remediate, access and mitigate reported risk issues, facilitate monthly risk meetings to thereby create a risk awareness culture within the line of business and implement procedures to thereby create the most efficient processes that will result in lower risk to the bank.
