As Director, Center for Global Engagement, I lead the internationalization efforts and provide mentoring and advising to international students and study abroad students. Using CRM to create communication pieces for prospective, admitted and enrolled students. Consulting international students on cultural and immigration matters while serving as PDSO. Advise emergency management team and pandemic response team to assure health and safety of international students and study abroad students. My Key Accomplishments• Restructured admissions process by transforming manual application system to online in compliance with immigration regulations.• Optimized applications and incoming fall class of international students by over 150% from fall 2019 to 2021• Initiated sponsored students' program, including Ugrad program administered by IREX, through Department of State.• Led successful management of safe return of study abroad students during the onset of the pandemic.

In my role of Director, International Programs, I mentored staff on international credential evaluation to increase work proficiency; secured maximum profitability by developing budget model for study abroad programs; and assured equity of awarding study abroad scholarships. I established and deployed on-line application for education abroad; ensured students retained full-time status for financial aid purposes by implementing course place holder for study abroad programs through faculty and curriculum committees. I supported the internationalization of campus and curriculum through funding travel grants for international conferences and international site visits, establishing awards to celebrate global engagement of faculty in international arena. I delivered quality international and diverse student programs in cross-collaboration with key campus partners. I have functioned as IDI certified administrator to drive IDI to executive level strategic planning committee. I established and oversaw satellite office of the Confucius Institute on the Crookston campus and acted as co-director of the American Cultural Center at Zhejiang Economic and Trade Polytechnic in Hangzhou, China (US State Department funded initiative).
