The Make Yourself Foundation (MYF) was founded by the band Incubus in 2003 to uplift people and communities globally. As the Director of Advancement at Music for Relief, I was responsible for creating and implementing innovative fundraising strategies, cultivating partnerships, creating efficient and compelling opportunities for donors to support MFR, and managing communications. Concurrently, I supervised MFR's team of interns, designed programming materials, compiled annual impact reports, managed grants, and produced events. During Linkin Park's touring cycle, I also created opportunities to raise funds and awareness for relief campaigns and our charitable partners domestically and internationally.

During my time in the Peace Corps I volunteered under the Children, Youth, and Families department, work with rural communities to identify opportunities to increase access to healthcare and education. I was responsible for collaborating with local leaders to design, execute, and fund social programs. My primary focus was at Casa de la Mujer, dedicated to providing women with the tools to become financially independent.
