Throughout my career at Borton & Sons I have continued to grow and prosper my knowledge in many different avenues. My career started at Borton & Sons as an entry level administrative assistant and I was quickly moved into and created the accounts payable department. Through hard work and determination I was promoted to the accounts payable manager. My career further continued to evolve and I progressed into the office manager and A/P manager. I worked even harder and became the facilities manager. Most recently, I was promoted into my current position as the Facilities & Project Manager. What I love most about my current position is the endless problem solving and that no two days are the same. There is no better feeling than being able to analyze a problem, dissect each issue, and facilitate the resolution of the situation. Another part of my role that provides value to me are the relationships I have build with my co-workers. I enjoy taking the time to invest, care, and value each co-worker individually. I feel like it often only takes a minute or two of kindness to change someone's day. I also appreciate the many opportunities I have been given to create different ways that our company can give back to our local community. Such as assisting with food drives, helping families in need during the holidays, and providing care packages for scholarships recipients.
