I teach five units of language arts daily to spirited seventh graders! I love watching their writing improve and creating a passion for reading and learning. I serve on our leadership team and have received valuable training in AVID strategies. Students in my classroom are engaged learners that will hopefully embrace the importance of life-long learning.

As Curriculum Director I am responsible for developing improved curriculum and implementing proficiency based learning for the 2014-15 school year. Grant writing, grant administration and coordination through the Oregon Department of Education are other responsibilities that I embrace. Additionally, I take care of counseling students in their pursuit of graduation, teacher mentoring and evaluation, staff development, professional learning communities, assisting the principal, creating reports about current developments for board meetings, and promoting a safe and efficient learning environment for our student population.

I served as the broker/owner of my own small residential real estate company.

At Remax I was a top sales associate and was a member of the Remax 100 % Club and was nominated for the Remax Hall of Fame. In 2008, my sales volume was among the top five percent nationwide. I incorporated principles of marketing, advertising, contract management, and construction skills to assure my clients had the best possible experience when buying or selling residential real estate.
