1) Accomplish the goals and objectives set forth by Tri-State HEP's grant application, Federal guidelines of the Office of Migrant Education and the U. S. Department of Education.2) Provide daily oversight and management of the functioning of the project as well as facilitate good relations among the project, college, and community at large.3) Monitor the project progress toward achievement of project outcomes with regular site visits.4) Supervise fiscal accountability, purchasing, and payment of student stipends and report to FSCC administration.5) Hiring, supervising, and evaluation of HEP staff, both on and off campus.6) Schedule, chair, and document regular staff meetings and maintain good communication among HEP staff, site administration and instructors, and Fort Scott Community College.7) Ensure each participant is properly assessed and has jointly developed Individual Learning Plan with a copy held in director's office and original on site.8) Ensure that all project participant's needs are met as directed by the ILP by monitoring random ILP reviews.9) Fill in with HEP staff duties as needed.10) Serve as liaison with the Department of Education to write proposals, interpret federal regulations, and prepare both narrative and fiscal reports.

Assist CAMP staff and participants to maintain a high level of excellence; assist Project Director in coordinating the administration of satellite sites; assist satellite instructors in all aspects of the program by coordinating the following: assessment, identification of academic needs, supervision of instruction; course completion, preparation for CAMP examination; and implementation of career/vocational exploration projects.
