I am the occupational health nurse for Eli Lilly in Research Triangle Park Durham North Carolina. Lilly is a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry, and I am proud to care for almost 1000 employees who work at the Research Triangle Park site. I support employee well-being through health surveillance examinations, wellness and preventative screenings and episodic care. I work closely with the Lilly Health Safety and Environment Team to ensure employee safety as well as provide employee education on wellness and preventive care. I have 6 plus years of experience working in emergency medicine caring for a wide variety of patients. I am skilled in medication administration, IV insertion and IV therapy, and hold certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. As an RN I have experience in both bedside clinical care as well as home care. Currently I hold three degrees to include my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. My career background includes nursing as well as experience in sales, management, planning and scheduling which has provided me with strong leadership, organizational and communication skills that benefit my patients and their family.
