• Organize all aspects of multiple social service events in the Mass Bay area including the recruitment, training, and coordination of volunteers for these events. Support the Greater Boston Social Service Coordinator in the development and implementation of social service delivery within Greater Boston• Plan, organize, and implement multiple large scale social service distribution events throughout the calendar year• Point person for divisional volunteerism; corporate, agencies and individuals• Development, maintenance, and oversight of divisional volunteer database for Greater Boston Social Service events and continuing programs in the Greater Boston area including recruiting, training, and supervision• Support Greater Boston Social Services programs including the site visits, program development, resource allocation, and providing basic training to volunteers

• Manage the annual Back to School Celebration (first established in 2012) at the TD Garden which serves over 3,500 children from Bostono Built relationships with partners such as the TD Garden, Social Service Agencies, Community Programs, Vendors, and Corporate Volunteer Coordinatorso Recruited and assigned roles and responsibilities to over 400 volunteers• Coordinate event logistics for the annual Active Kids Day (established in 2013) which is held in partner with Reebok and their BOKS program at their International Headquarters. This event reaches roughly 4,000 kids along with their families to teach them about being active and eating right.• Manage the annual Boston Christmas Castle which is a 3 day distribution event that serves over 5,000 families by providing them with food vouchers, winter coats and toys for their children.o Directly coordinate donations and schedule deliveries and pickups of needed supplieso Recruit and manage a combined 400+ volunteers for set-up, distribution and breakdown.• Provide logistical and administrative support to the Social Services Coordinator• Provide quarterly media reports and updates on individual services, distributions, and social service programs in Greater Boston area
