Responsible for the oversight and management of pediatric surveyors. Performed follow-up/remediation testing, tracked the progress of annual QA plans and reported results to customers in a timely manner. Prior to transitioning into the office, I worked in the field as a staff nurse from March 2006 until August 2007 providing direct care per diem.

Bristol Meyers Squib Children'S Hospital

Delivered a complete range of RN services and expertise by working as a full time per-diem staff nurse. Floated to the pediatric, adolescent medical/surgical units, "overflow" unit, same day surgery, pediatric intensive care unit (step down), and newborn nursery. Became a "Super-user" for Sunrise Clinical charting system as the hospital began to initiate electronic charting.

Performed as Nurse Manager for 6 months and Assistant Nurse Manager for 3 years for 42 bed acute care medical /surgical unit. Provided supervision for RN's, LPN's, Pediatric Technicians and Unit Secretaries. Ensured compliance with regulatory bodies, maintained educational requirements of staff, adequacy of supplies, hiring, scheduling, budgeting, payroll and disciplinary actions. Pulled into staffing as needs arose. Assisted Jeanes Hospital with their preparations for JCAHO survey. Trained by Studer Group for implementation of Press Gainey Survey process. Provided in-depth training to staff in customer service and was recognized with and award by TUCMC's CEO. Served as staff RN from 1997 to 2000.
