Hello! I am a Clinical Nutritionist in Portland, Oregon that delivers personalized nutrition education and nutritional counseling. My goal is to inspire others to make more informed and conscious food choices and to cultivate a deeper connection with the natural world.I am adept in creating tailored nutritional programs for diverse clients and am dedicated to educating people on the health benefits of nutritious sustainable food. Furthermore, I advocate for food justice, the right to food, and reforming the food system to improve public and school nutrition through education and policy changes.Throughout my 35-year career, I've worked in healthcare, alternative therapy, and retail management roles. I pioneered the first Yoga and Wellness Center in my hometown in Michigan, Sangam Yoga & Wellness, where I acquired skills in workflow planning, marketing, and anchored special events to promote brand awareness and community engagement. My experience in management has provided me with a strong foundation in organization, planning, team development, and collaboration. I don't mind getting my hands dirty, figuratively and literally, I enjoy a challenge, and I like following the path less traveled.
