Kimberly Ratcliff is the acting manager of Caney Creek Ranch, a diversified ranching operation located in East Central Texas, which produces Ratcliff Premium Meats. Caney Creek Ranch was purchased by Kimberly’s parents Wesley and Marie Ratcliff in 2002. In 2007, Kimberly joined the ranch after leaving her job as a Branding Specialist at the New York City financial institution, Bloomberg L.P. Today, Ratcliff manages and helps operate the family business producing registered Charbray Cattle, from which bulls, replacement heifers, semen, and embryos are sold nationally and internationally. The ranch also produces commercial cattle and livestock feed resources.In 2016, Ratcliff launched Farm to Freezer Meat Company LLC which purchases finished cattle from Caney Creek Ranch with the mission to provide the highest quality ranch-direct beef possible in a simple, convenient, and responsible manner.One of Ratcliff’s missions is to increase awareness and expansion of community-based resource gathering. She has been honored to speak at various events and engagements, including the Federal Reserve Agriculture Summit, and was a Keynote speaker at the Louisiana Women’s Conference and the Women in Ranching Series. Ratcliff founded Ratcliff Community Based Organizations in 2023, a nonprofit focused on empowering the next generation of agricultural producers and leaders by fostering sustainable practices to cultivate nutritious food and products while safeguarding the environment. The Organization’s goal is to ensure the long-term success and sustainability of agriculture by investing in youth and promoting the Ratcliff Premium Meats movement. Ratcliff is a Board Member of the following: USDA Advisory Committee for Minority Farmers and Ranchers, USDA Trade Advisory Board, Texas Parks and Wildlife Private Land Advisory Board, Women in Agriculture, and many more. Ratcliff has a bachelor’s degree from Long Island University, a Ranch Management Diploma from Texas Christian University, and is a graduate of Texas A&M’s Texas Agriculture Lifetime Leadership Program. She has received numerous awards for her accomplishments from her peers in the agriculture community, including Rancher of the Year by the following organizations: Landowners Association, Minority Landowners Magazine, and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
