As the Project Manager of the East Merced Resource Conservation District (EMRCD), I managed a federal grant from the Department of Conservation (DOC) from October 2017-Feburary 2019. Through the DOC grant I implemented community outreach events, organized school feild trips and presentations, conducted water quality monitoring on Merced's local watershed, created a natural resource education program, and partnered with local and federal agencies (Natural Resources Conservation Services, Merced Irrigation District and Department of Conservation etc.) on restoration projects.
