I am an Instruction and Technology Coach seeking employment in the field of technology integration for education. I have a bachelor's degree in Biology, master's degree in Science Education, and a second master's degree in Educational Leadership. I was a Biology, Anatomy, and Dual Enrollment Science teacher for 5 years additionally serving as department head and mentor teacher. Throughout this time I worked to utilize technology in the classroom as an Apple Certified teacher and utilizing Google and Microsoft products. This added technology supported increased engagement and therefore proficiency. I was able to bring my students with disabilities pass score to the highest pass rate in the district three years in a row. In 2019, I became an instructional coach. I worked to help my department through student-centered learning and increasing comfortability with technology in the classroom. Through my time as coach, our school's scores increased by 30% the first year and my second year as coach our scores obtained the highest increase in the district from having the highest drop two years prior. I have created a brand for our school and create all the content and engagement posts. Since taking over the social media account, the followers have increased by 78% and participation in events have increased by 64%. Another role that I have is the senior class sponsor and science department head. Both of these roles require me to do event planning and project management. Additionally, I am in charge of the budget for both accounts.
