Conducting qualitative research into medical student's learning in mental health, including policy analysis and alignment, theoretical basis, extensive literature review, focus groups and interviews, and qualitative data analysis (thematic analysis). Tutor for the Behavioural Science course Discourse, Power and Politics, utilising critical social psychology approaches to understanding and analysing group behaviour. Course focuses on the use of discourse that underpins people's identities and interactions, and how people may be stereotyped or marginalised accordingly.

Planned an evaluation strategy for implementing the Dual Diagnosis Capability of Mental Health Treatment (DDCMHT) assessment tool and interventions in a number of Mental Health organisations in Perth. Role included:Researching and designing the evaluation strategy of the project’s outcomes;Provided analysis and suggestions for the direction of the project.

Achievements included: liaising and meeting with Government, non-government and private organisations and assisting students to secure Behavioural Science internship placements; assisted students with preparing documents and develop personal skills assessments in preparation for placement; organised placement contracts; worked in a close team with the Internship Coordinator; supervised internship seminars to support student's development, learning and reflexive skills; reviewing student internship reports and providing feedback; helping students to understand the practical application of theories and ensuring that students met the learning outcomes.

Sessional laboratory tutor for the Introduction to Biological Sciences course. Facilitated laboratory experiments, ensuring lab safety protocols were followed by students; assisted student's learning in lab procedures and the practical application of theoretical content, ensuring lab time was used effectively . Marked student assessments, provided pastoral care and developed lesson plans. Assisted with field trip whereby students undertook scientific measurement and observations of flora and fauna at Wireless Hill Park.

Conducted an environmental scan, policy analysis and SWOT analysis of suicide prevention services and programs in Western Australia to provide a basis for the organisation's suicide prevention advocacy platform. Completed a report specifically regarding suicide prevention for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and a report for non-indigenous populations. Reports included the theoretical basis for understanding suicide, use of appropriate language and a critical review of the current policies, programs and services directed towards suicide prevention in WA.
