Preparation and planning skills:I prepare Maltese Language and Literature lesson plans and schemes of work for the Senior levels taught (Senior 3, 4 and 5), prepare resources and tasks, set clearly the learning objectives and outcomes.Organization and management skills:I manage the learners' behaviour, assign good quality group work, interact with learners, establish positive interaction with and among learners, include all learners in class, use whiteboard and interactive whiteboard, manage time appropriately.Use of AFL strategies.Employment of appropriate teaching processes:I introduce the topics and share the learning intention, explore and acknowledge the learners' prior knowledge and skills, adopt a clear structure (continuity/ development of lesson), employ the questioning technique effectively and appropriately, adopt a teaching method that is appropriate to the topics, and I am aware of the learners' understanding.I also give the learners an active role in class, urging them to participate, so as to establish a holistic approach.

I helped other panel members in the process of reviewing the syllabus for SEC Maltese. I helped in the COVID mitigation process of the SEC Maltese syllabus.I communicated ISA’s concerns to the other panel members. I took part in a pilot study of the SEC Maltese syllabus.

Delivery of learning programmes and provision of support to one individual pupil.
