Formerly known for restoring historic homes throughout Austin for more than twenty years, designer Kimberly Renner now owns and operates The Renner Project, a 5,000 square foot store and studio offering high-style twentieth century modern, vintage and antique pieces curated and presented in a series of constantly changing roomscapes, each with a distinctive point of view.Dubbed the “House Whisperer” by the Austin Statesman, Renner took her twenty years of home refurbishment experience to a new level in 2012, when she and her husband Dan purchased a 16,000 square foot deserted office space on Austin’s emerging North Lamar corridor and built a namesake one-of-kind store, workshop, warehouse and home; the Renners live with their two children in an urban loft over the store in a space reflective of her previous work, featured in Metropolitan Home, Martha Stewart Living, and the New York Times.Kimberly’s vision for The Renner Project is to present customers with a constantly evolving source of inspiration, unique pieces and smart design solutions.
