As a third grade elementary educator I fostered a rapport with students that created positive self esteems and a safe learning environment. I actively engaged students to maximize their learning potential by using a variety of teaching methods to meet student's individual learning needs. During our yearly in-services required for professional development I led a workshop on how to design creative lesson plans.

As a youth director of children ranging in ages from twelve to eighteen I organized and implemented many community service programs to meet the needs of those in our local area. Along with creating a sensitive atmosphere where teens could feel safe to share and grow together I helped equip them with knowledge on how to handle difficult situations. Part of my position also involved strong organizational skills and administration abilities.
