Member of the executive management team and in collaboration with the CEO, I articulate and implement a strategic vision for Wells focused on effective growth; oversees implementation of the strategic plan in close coordination with the executive management team, build new partnerships to grow and sustain the organization, manage special research and development projects, and serve as a key external resources for clients, media and the community. Those initiatives include both an academic and technical assessment of market conditions and growth opportunities, including the leadership of the new product development strategy for the organization. In addition, my role is the leader for the brand, marketing and communication strategies within the organization for both internal and external clients, customers, employees, suppliers, and the community.

The Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) is the technical institute for the international precast concrete structures industry. PCI develops, maintains, and disseminates the Body of Knowledge (BOK) necessary for designing, fabricating, and constructing precast concrete structures. The BOK refers to the collective knowledge of an industry that is relied upon to design and build with a specific material or system. It is from this BOK that building codes, design guides, education programs, certification, and more are derived. I am a member of the board of directors for PCI. It is the responsibility of a board member to steer the organization towards a sustainable future by adopting sound, ethical, strategic and legal governance and financial management policies, as well as making sure PCI has adequate human and financial resources to advance its mission.
