Oversee the operations of the Boulder Interdisciplinary Committee (BIDC), which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and organize the CLE programs that the BIDC sponsors. Board Members are elected by the BIDC membership to serve two year terms. The BIDC is a community of professionals who support families through divorce. We are committed to educating professionals and strengthening our community's resources. Our mission is to improve outcomes for families by providing training, consultation, and community to professionals who navigate family law issues. From its beginnings in the 1970s, the BIDC has supported the Boulder professional community with programming on various aspects of divorce. The field of divorce is complicated and nuanced and can often tether professionals to their offices. As society and laws shift and as psychology evolves, there is a constant need for professionals to educate themselves on changes. The interdisciplinary approach is at the heart of the BIDC's commitments. By educating members on issues of law, psychology, and evaluation, each professional develops a well-rounded understanding of the issues and systems impacting their clients' lives. Today the BIDC has evolved to a community of over 100 members and has maintained its commitment to education, community, and an interdisciplinary spirit. Members come from many disciplines, including social work, psychology, and law.

I served as a student representative for Kaplan PMBR at the University of Colorado Law School, which entailed marketing and selling assorted bar review courses and packages to students to prepare them for the bar exam, educating students interested in learning more about the the bar exam, and training new representatives.

As a student attorney in the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic (ELC), I performed transactional work and provided legal services without charge to local businesses and entrepreneurs under the joint supervision of a full-time clinician and experienced attorneys from top law firms in Boulder and Denver. My work ranged from advising a single-member LLC on trademark issues that it was facing to drafting a detailed operating agreement for a multi-member LLC. I additionally had the opportunity to extensively research, compose a memorandum related to, and craft a presentation on the topic of emerging business entities such as the L3C and benefit corporation.

Researched the application of information privacy law to a company operating at the intersection of health care and social media. Drafted recommended guidelines for a client that operated in this space and additionally helped update the client's privacy policy and terms of use. Composed a client-facing memorandum explaining the application of privacy law to online businesses and placing particular emphasis on privacy policies.

While working at Level 3, I significantly contributed to a database for in-house use in combating future lawsuits by crafting legal memoranda for over 20 different U.S. states that detailed their respective trespass and condemnation laws. I also conducted extensive legal research on corporate, property, contract, tort, regulatory, and employment law issues. Finally, I regularly composed memoranda reporting research findings, applying relevant law to the factual situation at hand, and recommending actions to be taken.

I registered and operated this LLC consulting firm with 5 other MBA students at the Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado at Boulder.
