I lead the GSMA's humanitarian innovation team that works with the mobile industry and humanitarian organisations to accelerate the delivery and impact of digital humanitarian assistance. We do this by catalysing partnerships, investing in innovation, unlocking policy barriers, and delivering original research. I have worked in the humanitarian sector for 20 years, including in the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, on global disarmament initiatives, and with a number of non-governmental organisations. I specialised in multilateral negotiations and instruments and have worked on the Sustainable Development Goals, the New York Declaration on Refugees and Migrants, the Paris Climate Agreement, the Mine Ban Treaty, and the Convention on Cluster Munitions. My governance experience includes acting as an adviser to the British Red Cross Chairman and Board of Trustees on the delegation to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Governing Board and General Assembly. Before moving to London, I was based in Asia-Pacific.
