Kimberly Boim is a health communication specialist, award-winning journalist, and social media strategist. She has written or edited more than 5,000 published news stories, columns, and Op/Ed pieces, and was awarded the coveted Otis A. Brumby 1st Place Award by the Georgia Press Association for a serious column. While serving as an investigative reporter in north Georgia, a series of stories Kimberly wrote on the secrecy governing Georgia’s Pardons and Paroles Board led to the Georgia legislature changing a 73-year-old law. She was interviewed on Georgia Public Broadcast (GPB) after the new law went into effect.Additionally, the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame selected Boim in 2015 for its Jimmy Mosteller Award for excellence in covering Nationwide Series Race Car Champion, Chase Elliott. For six years, Kimberly served as editor-in-chief of the second most successful medical news publication in the United States, M.D. News Atlanta. She also served as chair of the group's 13-member board. In her senior management roles, she hired, trained, and led teams of reporters, photographers, and sales reps to deliver projects on-time and on-budget. In her spare time, Kimberly continues to work the 1997 cold case murder of an 11-year-old Forsyth County boy named Levi Frady.
