Kimberly Byrd operated directly with the Police Commissioner, Deputy Commissioners, City Commissioners, Deputy City Manager, Community Stakeholders and Regional Partners by providing the highest quality professional police services and fulfilling the ultimate commitment of improving the quality of life within the community. She managed the daily operations of the Police Commissioner’s office and served as a liaison with federal sectors, public officials, community groups and command personnel. A significant aspect included the efforts of coordinating multi-functions. Represented the Police Commissioner and Police Department at various forms of symposiums with community groups, political allies and command staff in relation to interpreting policies, along with problem solving surrounding law enforcement and the community.
