Kimberly Klein Cauthorn is head of the Intellectual Property (IP) practice within Willis Towers Watson's Corporate Risk and Broking segment and is responsible for overseeing and growing the IP team's consulting and brokerage capabilities. Willis Towers Watson (NASDAQ: WTW) is a leading global advisory, broking and solutions company that helps clients around the world turn risk into a path for growth. I have 36 years of experience in law firm, academic, consulting, in-house legal, and insurance environments. Over the last 23 years, I have developed IP and broader intangible asset risk management solutions including insurance, and assisted clients with managing the costs and risks of IP litigation. I built the IP insurance claims divisions for three IP insurance programs supported by Lloyd's of London, and I served as COO for another MGA supported by Great American E & S Company. I have conducted IP audits, risk assessments, and due diligence, as well as prepared IP licensing and monetization analyses. I have extensive experience placing insurance to cover IP-related exposures.
