I always had a love for baking and pastry, so soon after I earned my degree in Accounting, I went on to culinary school for baking and pastry. I worked for a number of bakeries, trying to gain as much experience and skills as I thought would be needed to open my own pastry shop.In May of 1999 I opened Sweet Jazmines Pastry Shop in Berwyn, PA where I have stayed true to the art of baking from scratch. I never compromise the taste of our desserts for the look because it is true that we eat with our eyes, but it is our palate that has the final word. Often times the best reaction as someone tries our desserts is silence, then a smile. Those smiles always let us know we are doing our job.
