My current area of focus is around Medicare Advantage and other healthcare government programs.

I have been focused on helping clients make the journey to the New. I work with senior client leadership to understand their business problems and advise them on solutions based on digital and cloud technologies. This has included working with a start-up technology company to define their client technology solution. We collaborated to design a flexible, scalable multi-tenant cloud based technology solution for claims editing that allows for accelerated on-boarding of new clients by translating the business model for new laboratory benefits management company into an implementable platform.I have also architected the technology solution for the stand-up of a third party administrator subsidiary for a large plan. This included defining the new enterprise architecture around serverless cloud native PaaS capabilities, implementing a new client onto the platform, and redesigning the operating model and processes.

As a manager, I ran a variety of strategic projects across a broad spectrum of health functions. The first of these roles included identifying systems affected by regulatory change at a regional BCBS plan. After, I helped a large regional BCBS plan with a strategy to digitize their member communications for claims, defining the business vision and solution blueprint against the business case and consumer experience. I then helped develop business processes and architectural solutions for Public Exchange participation. My final role as a manager was to act as the key adviser to the CTO in orchestrating the successful delivery of a new core administration system.

As a consultant, I managed delivery for an multishore team of over 40 resources to extract the business rules from a 30+ year old legacy claims processing system for a large multi-regional BCBS plan. My team refined the process to streamline delivery and I was ultimately responsible for successful delivery to the client.

As an analyst, I worked as a business analyst gathering requirements and leading a test execution team.

As an environmental engineering intern, I analyzed plant emissions and performance to provide improvement recommendations supported by current data. I also streamlined plant environmental processes and procedures, including state and federally driven compliance procedures.
