Directly accountable for:• Ensuring brand consistency across all collateral and media; reviewing and approving art, layout, and design• Determining design strategy and aid in developing/maintaining corporate identity• Guiding designers in presenting concepts and effectively communicating design decisions, ideas, and necessary deadlines with authors and/or Creative Director• Updating the firm style guide as needed• Remaining aware of the latest trends and technologies to ensure we offer design solutions that meet the need and help the firm stay competitive• Helping select/hire appropriate artistic staff based on firm need• Exercising leadership across the design specialist group to help ensure appropriate levels of engagement, challenge, and capitalization of specialized skills• Coordinating and lead team design initiatives based on emerging firm needs (rebranding, brand refreshes, logo creation, etc.)• Managing Associate Art Director for sub-division of the firm
