We successfully became a Money Services Business that allowed payment processing flexibility to clients while increasing substantial transaction growth and revenue for RealPage.Forming the MSB required a significant change in operations. We sucessfully created the company’s compliance and risk procedures for the money services business, (Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC, Bank Secrecy Act, Suspicious Activity reporting and underwriting for processing electronic payments) and implemented the compliance programs to support electronic payments solutions for the single and multi-family industry. The NBFI division allowed us to grow exponentially in transaction volume alone within the first full year of its formation. Consumers were adopting to choices and flexibility, while we significantly reduced clients back office operations time spent on accepting payments.
