I am now back to school to become a paralegal after taking some time off to start a hobby farm. I maintain an honors GPA at an ABA accredited school and am an alumni in Phi Theta Kappa International Honors Society. My course curriculum has provided me with a strong knowledge of criminal law, civil procedure, tort law, business law, legal research and writing, lethal document formatting, and more. In the past, I managed hospital wide inventories of disposable medical supplies analyzing pars based on min/max theories while working as part of a multidisciplinary team which incurred a net savings just greater than $400,000 over 12 months. I increased and sustained Central Supply Inventory turns from 6.0 to 10.0. I am proficient with MS Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and more. Utilized Excel for trending usage data in order to decrease overstock by $200,000 by standardizing processes to maintain a lean, efficient inventory.I played an integral role in conversions including sutures, gloves, BP cuffs and a primary distributor and maintained an elemental role with the Children’s Hospital New Products Committee.Another part of my daily duties was to routinely sourced substitute/replacement items and/or back-order contingency supplies. I was a key figure in, and held a rare understanding of strategic planning for potential distributor stock-out process.Skills include:~
