Former Project Manager RBK Development and Corvias Group Current advanced Contractor Administrator & Procurement Analyst with the State of Maryland. I perform contract management duties to ensure the contracts are within scope, on time and on budget. As a Contract Manager I have the authority to initiate and monitor the daily operations researching information for pending projects and contracts and develop complex scope of work which includes developing Invitations to Bid (IFBs), Requests for Information Request for Proposals Small Procurement's, Emergency procurement, and Sole Source contracts, in accordance with and in compliance with the MD Procurement Regulations (COMAR), the State Finance Procurement Article, and Board of Public Works Advisories . I interpret policies and rules of programs administered by the agency, local municipalities, the State of Maryland, and specialized industry requirements. I attend mandatory meetings to support the procurement process committee meetings, Procurement Review Group,pre-bid/pre-proposal meetings, bid/proposal evaluation and award recommendations and prepare to present contracts to the Board of Public Works (BPW) that is over the Agency’s delegated authority. After contract award, I am responsible for monitoring and evaluating contractors’ performance to include accessing Liquidated Damages for non-performance of work, handling contractual disputes, modifications, renewals, terminations and accessing the need for future endeavors.I Developed and managed the contractor development program, created the "Corvias Concierge” program for the Clean Water Partnership with Prince George’s County. With over 20 years of experience in assisting small and minority-owned businesses in the areas of qualification, bidding and procurement processes, and provides expertise to businesses looking to expand and grow in Prince George’s County. Prior to this role, I oversaw various government and LEED Certified projects in the Washington DC area and assisted the growth of many small businesses and minority contractors.
