My key duties included menu development, purchasing, inventory control, payroll and budgetting. During my tenure at this property I became ServeSafe Certified and a Certified Dietary Manager.

As the Assistant Culinary Director in the Lansdale, Pennsylvania location I was responsible for providing dining services to a resident population of 195 with a staff of 75 employees. My key duties were hiring of personnel, oversite of the food production process, payroll, accounts payable, and purchasing. I was able to demonstrate my leadership abilities through several management changes, and was asked to consider transferring to a larger property within the organization. I accepted the move to the Boca Raton, Florida property and transferred in January of 1997.

As the Dining Room Manager at the Lansdale, Pennsylvania property my key responsbilities included supervising a staff of 50 employees and providing dining services to 145 retirement-life residents. I was also responsible for developing training and retention programs as the property was undergoing an expansion and would require additional employees within the year. My key duties were to oversee food production and service during the evening meals and ensure proper customer service was being offered. As the property opened it's second phase of construction, I was offered the Assistant Culinary Services Director's position, and became repsonsible for hiring and training my replacement.
