Experience representing corporations and individuals in a variety of business litigation matters, including patent, copyright, antitrust, employment, commercial contract, consumer fraud, false advertising, and deceptive trade practices. * Experience in complex litigation with a focus on intellectual property, business, healthcare disputes, and antitrust. Duties include: conducting preliminary case analyses (liability and damages); researching various questions of law and drafting corresponding memoranda; overseeing all phases of discovery, including document production, written discovery requests, and depositions; drafting dispositive and non-dispositive motions; representing clients in scheduling and pretrial conferences; arguing various motions before neutrals, magistrates and judges; retaining and collaborating with experts on reports and deposition and trial testimony; preparing fact and expert witnesses for depositions; taking and defending depositions, including 30(b)(6), fact and expert witnesses; negotiating settlements.* Experience in high-stakes trials.
