I analyzed video data for "Mountains of Stars" an astronomy education outreach program funded by the National Science Foundation. I was responsible for coding video data to determine the effectiveness of the program and determine the growth of participants throughout their participation. The second project, "Preaching About Controversial Justice Topics," involved data collection, assessing trends, and summarizing findings for presentation at the Wisconsin Sociological Association Conference.

I researched Milwaukee's racial history and analyzed interview data of black Milwaukee police officers and their experiences within MPD following the 2016 shooting of Sylville Smith and the subsequent Sherman Parks Riots. I proposed potential changes within the MPD to address racial disparities in a research report for future presentations. This study expanded beyond the original research question to include themes such as Milwaukee's public education, affordable housing, and minority stress.
