“Kimify” – verb, to improve the form and/or function of a process, resource, or assetA former supervisor coined this phrase because of my compulsion to make existing things better or even create something new to fill a need. Though it took me some time to discover where my passions and skills could be put to their best use, my diverse work experience has left me with equally diverse skills and made me highly adaptable and a quick study.Sometimes Kimify-ing something meant I needed to learn a new skill or software, which I always enjoyed immensely and found extra satisfying. I taught myself Adobe InDesign, some CSS, complex spreadsheet/report formulas, and nearly everything I know about Salesforce reports and dashboards (I did such a great job with and had so much enthusiasm about the latter that my most recent position was created for me).I’m currently working toward a Salesforce Administrator Certification. In my previous work, I longed for a sandbox version of our app so I could peak under the hood and test things that I thought would make our data cleaner or easier to group before submitting feature requests. Now I’m learning how to build an org’s app from the ground up! When I’m not working, I’m probably gaming. If I’m not gaming, I’m probably binging a drama series. Sometimes, when the stars align just right, I get to be an actress for a little while (most recently seen in the 2022 Louisiana Film Prize Top 20 short “The Cut”).Fun fact: my Funko POP! collection is over 220 strong…and still growing.
