As the Director of Support Services at Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC), I oversee multiple departments and programs that ensure the safety, security, and preparedness of the healthcare system.I’m currently achieving a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health from Waldorf University. I've completed two certifications in Healthcare Risk Management and Patient Safety from University of Florida, and OSHA HAZWOPER Training from National Association of Safety Professionals. I am passionate about creating a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors, and reducing risks and hazards. Some of my achievements include leading the Emergency Preparedness Program, chairing the Workplace Violence Committee, and coordinating the Environment of Care, Life Safety, and Emergency Management chapters for The Joint Commission (TJC). I have also contributed to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and training for environmental services, security, and safety. I work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, such as the Johnson County Emergency Services Board, where I serve as a board member.
