Profile bio

About Kimberly Macuare

IN A NUTSHELLFrom the time I was a kid, I knew I would work in education. I would often forego afternoon cartoons to teach a group of neighborhood kids I had convinced—cough—coerced—into studying reading and spelling. Those early experiences sparked a love for teaching and learning that has led to a career as a curriculum designer, educator, and facilitator. BREAK IT DOWNCreativity & Innovation: I help teams and individuals understand the habits of mind and processes that drive innovation, specifically, the key role that creativity--the front end of innovation--plays, allowing them to enhance creative thinking and problem-solving skills and strategies to drive innovation. Strategic Planning & Design: If you have an objective, educational or institutional, I can design the path to get you there. Enough said.Communication: Wordsmithing is my personal religion, and I can often be found agonizing over the placement of a comma (to pause or not to pause, that is the question) or the nuance of a word. In addition to writing reams of content, you can often find me out and about giving keynotes, speaking on panels, and facilitating creative problem solving and innovation workshops. Areas of Expertise: I am an experienced educator, facilitator, speaker, writer, and researcher. As a bonus, I have solid and extensive experience directing programs and departments, from strategic planning to tactical implementation.

Listed skills include Public Speaking, Teaching, Research, Curriculum Development, and 37 others.
