I am a driven person, always looking for a challenge so I guess that is why I decided to teach high school during a worldwide pandemic. No doubt it was a challenge, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! After two years of teaching; I learned an extraordinary amount of information about the public school system in Texas, teenagers, and myself. I am the happiest when I help people learn, problem solve, and fight for a cause I really believe in, and that is why I felt it best to use what I had learned in the private sector.I have professional and personal experience that gives me a unique perspective into your communication and advocacy needs.I spent 2 years revamping and developing the Strategic Plan for the Junior League of Collin County and bringing it into the 21st Century. I co-chaired the fundraising committee and was over the education and training for the Junior League of Texarkana. I have experience working with graphic design and broadcast communications. As Chair (2012) and Co-chair (2011) of the Collin County Bench Bar Conference, I planned the seminar topics, speakers, social activities, menu, and hotel accommodations for over 100 conference attendees. I have nearly 150 hours in mediation and facilitation training, and have conducted numerous mediations resulting in agreements in highly contentious cases. I have 10 years of management experience, directly managing anywhere from 3 to 10 persons at any given time. I am Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and all Apple devices and software.
