Currently serving as the Director of Communications for a growing NYC charter school, my years of experience in creative strategy, marketing, publishing, content development, and event planning landed me in an exciting environment where my love for people, communication, and positive change come together. I also have a passion for theatre education. I believe in the power of theatre to change students in ways that go well beyond performance on stage. I have worked with high school and college students for over 10 years, teaching story improvisation, basics in acting, stagecraft, and more. What I do best: creative writing (scripts, marketing, web content, and more); collaborate creatively with teams; champion organizational stories; design and develop marketing digital and print assets; provide and organize daily social media content; develop long-range plans and see projects through from start to finish. I love to teach acting and improvisation classes and direct theatre for and with students.Over my creative career, I have had the opportunity to combine my abilities with my love for details and organization. Current and past work includes: brand and marketing development, writing in-depth articles for media outlets, collaborating on customer retention and recruiting strategies, developing and managing daily social media and web content, creating and implementing arts and culture conferences, writing published plays and scripts, directing and teaching high-school theatre, and overseeing studio recordings and live theatrical productions.
