Profile bio

About Kimberly Palmore, M.Ed.

When I was in college, I was certain I was going to be a therapist. I loved psychology, so that meant it was the perfect job for me, right? Well not quite. One evening, while waiting for my Career Counseling class to start, I was filled with questions about Holland Codes and navigating career change. One of my friends leaned over and said, "Wow this class is so boring, right"? I was shocked. I loved learning about career choices and career fit. That should have been my first clue! I completed my Master's Degree in counseling but I never became a therapist. Along the way I found a path that was perfect for me. I was destined to become a Career Counselor! Now, I have 14 years of higher education experience helping students, families and other clients meet their educational and career goals, follow their dreams and pursue their passions. I found my calling to be a career coach and help others find the career they are dreaming of. A job is more than a paycheck, it can change your whole life and that’s a significant impact I make in clients lives. Nothing is better than seeing someone value their skills and abilities and accept that job offer!

Listed skills include Educational Leadership, Curriculum Design, Teaching, Classroom, and 31 others.
