Selected to join the Benefitfocus Agile transformation team as an Agile coach and trainer. Developed custom curriculum and conducted in-person, multi-day training courses in Agile/Scrum and Kanban to more than 250 associates in our three corporate locations. Facilitated team lift-off sessions and coached individual teams in Agile/Scrum practices. Helped implement, define processes, and train associates on CA Agile (formerly Rally) tool. Instituted and facilitated an Agile Community of Practice. Worked with leadership to restructure development teams. Helped drive adoption of scaled agile techniques. Partnered with Project Management Office to institute metrics to track sprint and release health. Created an Agile maturity assessment for teams. Evangelized Agile through newsletters, emails, presentations, etc. Earned SAFe (SPC4) certification.

Managed multiple onshore and offshore Engineering teams in the delivery of new products and features.

Following Capital One’s acquisition of ING DIRECT, led the Integration Program for Direct Banking IT. The year-long integration consisted of dissolving ING DIRECT’s legal entity and migrating to Capital One’s legal entity and rebranding ING DIRECT to a new entity known as Capital One 360. The multi-million dollar integration effort involved managing the efforts of more than 300 IT Associates across 20 cross-functional development, infrastructure, and data services sprint teams. The scope of the rebranding included all customer-facing websites, mobile applications, voice response systems, internal support systems, vendor systems, paper fulfillment, emails, text alerts, URLs, etc.

Led program/project management efforts on numerous strategic bank initiatives such as:- Product launch of ING DIRECT’s Kids Savings Account 
tailored for young savers - Product launch of MONEY, a checking account with a debit card that allows teens to manage their money with guidance from their parents
- Introduction of ING DIRECT’s Secure Paper Checks feature which allows customers to request paper checks but manage their checkbooks online with unique security features- Introduction of ING DIRECT's remote check deposit feature which allows customers to take pictures of the front/back of checks and deposit them remotely via their computer or mobile device

Led analysis efforts using Agile/Scrum framework for multiple sprint teams on numerous strategic bank initiatives such as:- A nine-month effort to replace the bank’s online bill payment system requiring extensive vendor integration, customizations to customer facing web site and internal support systems, and a mass data conversion for 500,000 bank customers initiating an average of 30,000 payments daily to more than 1.5 million payees.- Integration of two disparate web sites as a result of the bank’s acquisition of a brokerage firm resulting in a convergence of data for over two million bank and brokerage customers, single sign-in capabilities, transparent account linkage, and customer facing web site updates for a more unified web presence.

Disaster Recovery Analyst 2004-2007Recruited for a specialized team responsible for instituting an in-house, enterprise-wide disaster recovery program that had previously been outsourced. Conducted in-depth analysis of mission-critical applications working with internal and external business partners and clients culminating in the development of a detailed application and infrastructure recovery sequence and procedures to be followed in the event of a disaster. Implemented an enterprise-wide disaster recovery testing strategy and executed comprehensive disaster recovery exercises.Web Development Analyst 2000-2004 Led concurrent analysis efforts to establish T. Rowe Price’s international web presence in English, German, and Japanese languages and integrate with a content management system to provide a robust solution for ongoing web site maintenance. Led analysis efforts for the redesign of three major web sites for the Retirement Plan Services division.Senior Programmer/Analyst 1996-2000Led analysis efforts for key business applications including a case management system, a business rules engine, and a beneficiary management system. Provided development support using C++, Java, HTML, ASP, JavaScript, and SQL.

Completed comprehensive twelve-week training program which introduced concepts of object-oriented analysis, design, and development. Developed requirements for initiative to re-engineer the firm’s claims handling processes and systems.Served on advisory board for college recruitment and retention strategies.

Provided hardware and software support to over 300 mortgage associates and loan officers in local and remote sites.
