After almost 20 years in retail management, I've found joy in working in online educational, training, and professional development settings. I'm constantly excited to learn new technologies and to continue to work on my own professional development through both work-based and higher-education based learning programs.My current position includes working with ASU faculty, and other development staff to design, maintain, support and revise technology delivered course content and related materials. • Manages the design, development, and delivery of online course content, materials, interactive and multimedia technology-driven components, and other support materials consistent with established design and development processes to ensure flexibility and reusability • Coordinates production of instructional materials with subject matter expert (SME); consults with clients on course design projects • Develops and disseminates course design standards to ensure all new or updated course masters comply with all existing design standards • Edits guides and other instructional materials for grammar, clarity, consistency, and accuracy of content• Provides consultation for faculty in the educational design of online delivered curriculum; builds and maintains sites for course deployment • Develops and/or maintains online web-based resources such as tutorials, reference material, design standards, content resources, templates, and tools for instructional development • Works collaboratively with developers; editing, reviewing and evaluating course content; assisting with embedding and formatting learning objects; and providing quality assurance testing for courses and post-production work; adapts course materials for online delivery • Applies adult learning theory with instructional design methodology while utilizing appropriate technology to develop and design courses
