I am an instillation artist of light, shadow and texture. I incorporate sculptures of wood, metals and stone. Additions of augmented reality superimposed on mural paintings are the final details. Installation type art experience invites all of the senses to experience the culmination of six walls creating one piece of fine art.

A California native, Kimberly receives her encouragement from an ocean breeze, sand between her toes and twinkling seawater. Further, intertwining precious stones and metals into Kimberly’s artwork allows her to encompass multiple media such as fine jewelry, paintings, drawings and sculptures into visions of tangible art. Encompassing 23 years in the medical field, from an emergency medical technician to managing medical facilities, Kimberly decided to accept the challenge of higher education. An ASU 2020 graduate, her bachelor’s in fine arts and minor in psychology became the culmination of her two thesis’ for Barrett, the Honor’s College at ASU. The effects of Cognitive Tasks on Binaural Windchime Rhythms Based on Her Previous Findings from her electroencephalogram (EEG) Study (2018). The second thesis, a proposal for a Bachelor of Art - Art Therapy Concentration (BFA-AT). ASU’s BFA-AT program is to commence Fall of 2023. Consequently, Kimberly utilizes her artistic influence to help others heal through visual arts and the concept of art therapy.

Mentor six through eighth grade students while teaching color theory and the art of mural painting as well as mold creation for the six foot “U-Matter” Sculpture.
