Kim Sineath is the Senior Director at the Learning Pavilion, Tallahassee’s smart-play preschool serving more than 125 young children and their families each year. Kim has played an instrumental role in creating an integrated continuum of services on the school’s campus including early intervention therapy and parent support. She has also transformed the school’s internship and community outreach program to position the school as a cornerstone for early child success in Tallahassee. Finally, through strong program development and strategic planning, Kim successfully diversified funding streams for the school to include a “round up” campaign allowing the Learning Pavilion to offer unique, financial benefits to families that other early education centers cannot. Kim has been in the nonprofit sector for more than 20 years and is routinely called upon to serve as a content expert and speaker for early education and intervention. In 2020, Kim was the sole local provider voice for early education at the Florida Chamber of Commerce Prosperity Summit. Currently, she is working with the Florida State University, College of Social Work, Center for the Study and Promotion of Communities, Families and Children on the development and implementation of an early childhood social emotional curriculum across the state of Florida.
