Strategy & Solutions ConsultantMaser Technology Group Jun 2010 - Apr 2015SydneyI undertook a long-term part-time (~3-4 days per week) consulting assignment with the Maser Technology Group with the brief to move the company into new markets and help manage key accounts:• Set-up Maser’s NetworkiQ division that in 3 years has become their largest division on turnover and profit.• Transformed Maser’s thinking and approach to service from a cost centre with a turn-over of $350K to a profitable division of the company that now has the highest gross margins, represents nearly 20% of total turnover (having grown four-fold in 3 years) and has an ongoing annuity style business that will generate income for years to come.• Conducted a review of over 30 supply partners, organised them into 4 complementary and simplified groups, and helped developed new business strategies for each.• From 2010 to 2013 I was responsible for key account management of the VHA account. During this time I negotiated a new Master Supply Agreement (MSA) and achieved over A$6M in RF antenna sales in 2011 (a four-fold increase and nearly 50% of the total sales for the Maser Group) including reaching the annual revenue and GP target in the first quarter. • Signed several new suppliers and rebuilt Maser’s deteriorating relationship with existing suppliers that has resulted in over $15M in sales since 2011.• Initiated a review of international freight charges for base station antenna shipments (freight was on average 20% of the total cost) which resulted in savings of approximately 33% worth over $200,000 per annum; achieved by introducing a 2nd freight forwarder and implementing a policy of requesting quotations for all major shipments. -

From 2009 I reported directly to the Chairman of the Telsis Group in the UK and I was the only overseas staff member appointed to the ‘Cadre’ – Telsis’ inner circle leadership team.
