Challenge and change are always thrilling! Kim's career has shifted from telecommunications, restaurant ownership, to the health industry. Kim took on the role at Comprehensive Health Services, a Caliburn Company, as the Assistant Contact Center Manager in the Cape Canaveral office. While employed there for 18 months, she managed the day to day operations managing the staff of leaders and schedulers in the Scheduling Department. She is a DOT Certified Professional Collector in Urine Collections. Kim is an entrepreneur and as an investment, she purchased a restaurant in Cocoa, FL near Kennedy Space Center. She has a staff running the restaurant daily and she oversees operations. In 2017, Kim made a career change and purchased Daddy O’s Diner in Cocoa, FL, a successful restaurant serving the Port St. John community since 1991. Kim continues to operate the business operations 7 days a week with the assistance of a restaurant manager. While employed with Verizon Wireless, Kim held various leadership roles in her 19 year career, with the last assignment as LEAD Supervisor, supporting senior leadership, managing call center projects and coaching & developing 7 leaders and providing support to their teams of 65 front line call center employees. With her years of experience leading diverse teams at Verizon, Blake's leadership expertise includes building culture, coaching and development in a fast-paced, ever changing environment. Kim has been recognized for Exceptional Leadership in September 2015. Kim was selected for the December 2011 Director’s Club for solid performance metrics. Kim is the recipient of the Customer Service 2005 & 2007 Leadership Quarterly Awards. Kim was a member of the Women’s Association of Verizon Employees (WAVE) and served as an editor for the WAVE Magazine. Kim was awarded the 2014 WAVE Professional Development Certification for her professional development within four pillars of Fueling the Employee, Fueling the Business, Fueling the Community, Fueling the Culture.Kim holds a Master of Business Administration.
