I am passionate about the care of people. I have worked in the health care field for 23 years. I have authored two books discussing trauma, treatment and resiliency When Horrible Things Happen Revealing a Secret to Break a Curse and The Healing Journal. I have a weekly Mental Health segment on three socal media platforms Facebook The CottageHouse, Instagram The Cottage House Inc and YouTube called The Trap Lounge where I discuss Mental Health issues provding an outlet for thosewho may struggle with Mental Health my passion is to decreasethenegativestigmasurrounding Mental health and mental illness. I volunteer my time to assist with psychoeducation in the inner city with minorities and people of color providing resources for anyone who has experienced a traumatic experience. I coordinate and conduct psychoeducational programs on prevention and treatment of trauma.
