My career at First Market Bank offered me the opportunity to hold numerous positions across different areas of the Company. I was able to embrace the in-store concept when given the opportunity to manage two in-store locations. This experience readied me for a move into a position within the Retail Division that supported the frontline function primarily in the area of operations. I became the liasion between an out of state partner and First Market Bank in areas of Operations. My experience during this time introduced me to the "back office" functions that I currently manage. In 2004 I was given the opportunity to create the "back office" for First Market Bank. I was instrumental in the creation of Deposit Operations working first hand with the conversion from NCF to bring those functions to Richmond. I am currently responsible for the IRA/CD Department, Loss Control Department, ACH Department, Settlement Department including Cash Settlement, Safe Deposit Box management, Health Savings Accounts and many other various functions.My department is responsible for supporting the retail and front line teammates on a daily basis for all of these functions while providing excellent customer service. Being in touch allows me to identify issues and communicate those issues to the Retail and Training Groups for further training or problem resolution.I work closely on the Deposit & Operations Committee, Fraud Committee, New Product Development Committee and with the Retail Operations group.My team has been responsble for producing training materials, writing policies, updating online tools and making personal branch visits to enhance the overall quality of the tools available to our teammtes.My goal is to keep finding new ways and make improvements so our customer-the branch teammates and frontline teammates can provide excellent service to their customer.
