Being a stylist in this capacity has provided me with broad range of experience, as each production is unique unto itself. Often times this job requires little creativity, but more so the ability to adhere to budgets, manage a crew of assistants, and carry out the directives set by the creative director and/or photographer. Discollection was a boutique vintage store located in Gastown. We offered alterations, custom clothing and costumes. As a sole proprietor business, I managed all aspects of the shop including bookkeeping, budget making, and managing staff.
