Shee Creative is my freelance identity. I offer clients a variety of creative services on a per project basis. I act as a writer, producer, content producer and project manager for broadcast, digital and print projects. Shee Creative has worked with advertising agencies, direct response marketers, corporate communications specialists and broadcasters. These include Hiero Marketing (Tourism PEI/Confederation Centre for Performing Arts/UPEI), The Minto Group, the Canadian ADHD Resource Alliance, The Possibilities Clinic, ichannel/Stornoway Communications, IC Savings, a la Carte Videos (TD Canadatrust/Eastside Mario’s), RVK/MJR Productions, RLG (Resources Licensing Group), Kingstar (Loblaws, Nutribullet, Tristar, All-Star), Thane, Mentholatum Canada and DNA Films (Canon/ARHT).

Developing and expanding the event offerings at the over 100 year old Cape Breton Exhibition Grounds. Building a strong community centred venue that offers family friendly inclusive events and experiences.

As a producer I ensure on time and on budget delivery of broadcast masters and digital media content. As part of the creative team, I am responsible for writing copy and crafting visual narratives that are compelling, enlightening and entertaining. At any point during the production process I would be organizing, scheduling and coordinating multiple shoots for various projects for broadcast and web as well as supervising postproduction. Projects include:• No Kidding, a 26 x 60 minute stand up comedy television show with supporting web elements• Inside Joke, an innovative web based documentary series that combines humour with a discussion of social justice issues• The Transgender Project, a ground breaking digital series highlighting the challenges and triumphs faced and enjoyed by Canada’s trans community. The Transgender Project was honoured with a Canadian Screen Award Nomination for Best Original Program or Series Produced for Digital Media- Non Fiction.

As GM of a busy Toronto post house I was responsible for the day-to-day administration, including: booking of suites, scheduling of editors, in-suite production supervision, general maintenance and overall client services. Drawing upon my experience in creative services, I was responsible for writing and designing all marketing materials and website redesign.

As Creative Director, I oversaw the production process from start to finish; working with the creative team, clients, crew and post production personnel, to achieve the desired outcome whether that be a long or short format DRTV spot, print ad or marketing content for a product website. I helped create and develop new business pitches, creative proposals, briefs and scripts. I achieved a personal milestone of performing groundbreaking work with international clients resulting in productions that went on to generate in excess of $300 million in TV sales worldwide. While at Kingstar I counted among my clients All Star Marketing, Fitness Quest, Tristar Products, Thane International, Sylmark, Good Times, Best Direct, Oaklawn

At Production Partners, my duties included writing and producing training and marketing content for various clients including .Honda Canada, Chrysler Canada, Bombardier, Walt Disney Canada, TBWA/Chiat Day, Saatchi & Saatchi, Ammirati Puris Lintas, Shoppers Drugmart Kent & Spiegel, Quality, K-tel. I was in charge of maintaining production budgets and timelines, negotiating with suppliers and talent, as well as ensuring delivery of high quality video programming. In this position I was also responsible for day-to-day departmental operations, overseeing and managing staff and liaising with both clients and sister divisions.
