Taught a course on Product Teams & Methods as part of the Product Immersion for Small Newsrooms programme - an international, online, tuition-free program that trained journalists from small newsrooms in digital transformation through product thinking. It was offered by the J+ division of the Newmark J-School, the News Product Alliance, and the Google News Initiative. I also coached a small group of participants based in the APAC region.

Driving the daily and long-term news agenda for Newshub.co.nz, including overseeing a team of 15 digital producers. I was also involved in product management, innovation and strategy, and staff recruitment and development.In August 2017 the site achieved record video streams, page views and revenue under my leadership.
